Perfect Pick-Me-Up
A London decorator will be heading to work in a brand new Mitsubishi Challenger pick-up truck after winning the Pick Up and Win competition from Johnstone’s Trade.
Trevor Lowe bought a couple of 10 litre tins of Johnstone’s Covaplus Vinyl Matt at his local Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in Morden, as he does regularly, and gained entry into the exclusive competition, held to celebrate Johnstone’s 125th anniversary last year.
Trevor opened his Pick Up and Win reveal card immediately to find a golden ticket – the only one available from the Morden Decorating Centre. Each participating store had just one golden ticket up for grabs, with all the golden ticket holders going into a special prize draw at the end of the competition.
Mr Lowe, who collected his truck from Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in Morden, said: “I’m absolutely over the moon. I use the Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in Morden for all my external and internal decorating needs and I’m often there purchasing emulsion, specialised paints, brushes, rollers and all the other decorating essentials I need. The staff always have what I need prepared and ready for when I need it, and I get on really well with them all.
“The new pick up is going to be very useful for carrying around my equipment, and is a big upgrade from the car I was using previously! I can now carry all my gear for outdoor and indoor decorating jobs with me. I can’t thank Johnstone’s enough!”
