Crown Decorating Centres Buys Needlers.
Crown Paints Ltd has strengthened its nationwide network of 118 Crown Decorating Centres following the purchase of a family chain in Yorkshire.
Needlers Ltd has sold its three painting and decorating stores in Driffield, Scarborough and Bridlington to Crown Paints Limited.
Managing Director at Needlers Ltd, Alistair Needler, said: “As a long-standing family business, our employees and their welfare are very close to our hearts.
“This sale was the best option for providing a secure future for our staff and the stores they work in, and allows us to continue to focus on our core business of Workwear and Hygiene supplies to the Food Manufacturing industry.
The three stores will remain open under the Needlers name, with a shift in stock to reflect the wide range of products offered in Crown Decorating Centres across the UK as well as signature services such as the digital Colourzone colour-matching service, credit accounts, equipment hire and straight-to-site delivery.
Crown Decorating Centres’ General Manager, Naiem Wafa, said: “The addition of the three Needlers stores is a great asset to our offering and the very productive relationship we have always enjoyed with Needlers will stand us in good stead as we maintain the excellent level of service provided to existing and to new customers.
