A Wilmslow PDA Winner

A lucky Cheshire-based painting and decorating company is celebrating winning a joint PDA / Johnstone’s Competition

Michael Ludlow, owner of M.T. Ludlow Decorating Services, won 50 litres of the new Johnstone’s Trade Smooth Masonry paint and a Q-Tech QP019 spray machine in a social media competition organised by the Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) and Johnstone’s Trade.

Social media followers were asked a question about the Smooth Masonry formulation and were entered into the prize draw if they gave the correct answer.

Michael, who got the answer right, was drawn out of the hat and Neil Ogilvie, Chief Executive of the PDA, went to meet him at Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in Macclesfield to present him personally with the prizes.

M.T. Ludlow Decorating Services – which has become a member of the PDA for the first time this year – is based in Wilmslow and specialises in residential projects.

Michael said: “When I got the phone call to say I’d won I was delighted and couldn’t wait to collect my prizes.

“This summer I have a large exterior project coming up, so the masonry paint will come in really useful for that.

“The company has recently expanded, so I decided to become a member of the PDA.

“I think as we grow, membership is really important for the business, plus having their logo on display gives us much more credibility.”

As well as the top prize being awarded, 50 runners up were given a Smooth Masonry t-shirt.
