Dulux Decorator Centre helping get the trade back on its feet
Dulux Decorator Centre is helping the nation’s decorators build their businesses back up with a new job-finding service, alongside 3 months free Checkatrade membership when they sign up as a new member for 12 months.
The measures are part of their Backing Our Decorators initiative which has been established to help the industry overcome the effects of the Coronavirus outbreak.
It aims to offer practical support in building a new business pipeline for those hit by the pandemic.
Their new Dulux Decorator Centre Workfinder service unites decorators looking for work with larger businesses, benefitting both in turn.
Available through the Dulux Decorator Centre website, it allows decorators to see which businesses in their local area require support and apply directly to them. Decorating businesses who need to expand their workforce can use the service to advertise the roles they need filling.
It comes as many decorators are struggling, while some larger businesses are finding that they lack sufficient manpower to complete jobs.
At the same time, the leading decorating merchant is providing customers with three months free access to Checkatrade when they sign up as a new customer for a year – alongside 10,000 Nectar points worth £50.
Dulux Decorator Centre Managing Director John Henderson said: “The Coronavirus outbreak has seen many decorators facing very challenging circumstances.
“But as restrictions are beginning to be eased we’re determined to support the industry as they start to build their businesses back up again through the Backing Our Decorators initiative.
“Our new Workfinder service unites decorators with larger businesses who are looking for support.
“And by teaming up with Checkatrade we’re providing our customers with three months access to the nation’s No.1 trade business platform for free.”
Dulux Decorator Centre has also created Back-To-Work packs as prizes to quiz winners on their Facebook page. They contain a range of useful equipment including brushes, masking tape, sanitiser and T-shirts.
