Leigh Warman’s Art for Kids

Leigh Warman is an artist who specialises in work for children painting murals in the children’s wards of hospitals brightening up the otherwise dull wall areas. This helps to put the children at ease and this in turn helps to relax their anxious parents. It also makes a, calmer working environment for the staff.

Over the years he has painted over50 hospital areas across the country.

Leigh presents his work to the hospitals free of charge and then looks for outside sponsorship to allow him to do the work.

Says Leigh, “In the past I have had some fantastic sponsors including Phil Collins who was involved in a project I did at Great Ormond Street.

“I have had the honour to have painted a mural for H.R.H. Princess Diana and I decorated the gymnasium at Mill Hill army barracks to make ready for a visit by H.R.H. the Queen.

“I was presented to H.R.H. the Duchess of Gloucester for my work in The Special Baby Care Unit at Watford general “.

Watford General has now asked Leigh if he would paint eight treatment rooms and revamp The Special Baby Care Unit.

He is currently looking for more sponsors for this worthwhile project and already has some big names on board including Marks and Spencer and Dulux Decorating Centres through their local branch in Watford.
