Leading US Brand Benjamin Moore targets UK decorators
From September 2015, Benjamin Moore, one of North America’s leading manufacturers of premium quality residential, commercial and industrial coatings will be available to the UK market.
From next month, the brand’s palette of more than 3,500 colours will be available to designers, specifiers and professional painters in the UK. The brand will be distributed exclusively in the UK by Shaw Paints Ltd.
Benjamin Moore say they are will be looking to ‘build on our existing reputation within the global professional market and develop a strong network of professional customers in the UK “.
Products
Underpinning all of the Benjamin Moore product lines is the proprietary Gennex waterborne colourant technology. All the paints are custom mixed, giving customers access to an unrivalled palette of colours.
Products in the range include Aura which is formulated, say the company, to deliver a discernible richer, truer colour, and superior coverage in just two coats, even in the darkest shades. With seamless touch-up and extreme hide and coverage properties, the proprietary acrylic resin system ensures no colour rub-off, making Aura good for high traffic areas. Available as a Matte, Eggshell or Satin sheen.
Regal Select paint and primer also offers a premium performance and smooth application. A highly washable product, the Regal Select paint provides a mildew resistant coating, low odour as well as excellent hide properties. Available in a Flat, Matte, or Eggshell sheen this premium coating is available in all Benjamin Moore colours and White.
A commercial quality interior coating designed to meet the needs of professional painting contractors, facility managers and property managers, Ultra Spec 500 is available in a wide range of sheens and more than 3,500 colours. With good coverage and minimal VOC emissions, it features good flow and levelling as well as easy application properties. This quick drying and low odour product withstands repeated washing without damaging the finish. Ultra Spec 500 is available as a Primer, Flat, Eggshell, Semi-Gloss and Gloss finish.
