Johnstone’s improves Jonmat formulation
Johnstone’s Trade has launched an improved formulation of its Jonmat Premium Contract Matt. The reformulation has been developed based on widespread consultation and feedback from experts say the company.
Listening to the feedback, Johnstone’s Trade designed the enhanced product to offer improved application and opacity.
Richard Mazurkiewicz – Marketing Manager at Johnstone’s Trade, commented “ The improved product gives excellent wet and dry opacity, easy of application with the ability to ‘paint all day’ and a consistent, reliable finish .
“To ensure it met the desired criteria, the final development consisted of over 9,000 litres of the new formulation tried and tested by professionals across 28 different UK and Ireland sites prior to launch, some of which were not users of Johnstone’s Trade.
“The end result is a new and improved product that provides excellent wet and dry opacity, complete ‘white out’ coverage in 2 coats and offering confidence in application from the first coat. With superior touch up properties, Jonmat can be used to revisit substrates without leaving any noticeable trace on the overall finish “.
The product can be applied by spray, brush or roller and is suitable for interior walls and ceilings, new plaster or direct to plasterboard, the new formulation is available in over 7,000 colours, and with 5ltr, 10ltr or 15ltr sizes available.
