Last year Emma Aust and I ran the Manchester Marathon to raise money for a Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hospital to support baby Oscar Povey, who has CHARGE syndrome and vater/vacterl syndrome. Emma already knew the family and I got to know them during the fund raising and the race itself. (Lovely family)

Oscar is now visiting the Peter Pan Nursery (see video link below) for children with special needs. The Nursery solely relies on donations so I along with nine of my colleagues from work thought we could  raise some money  in order that our blood sweat and tears helps this amazing organisation and so that Oscar and other children can enjoy the benefits the nursery can offer.
