Johnstone’s Trade – a brand by PPG – has launched Obliterate Matt, a new premium-quality emulsion paint engineered for speed, durability and quality results. Designed for time-pressured professionals, it delivers what is described as “unrivalled opacity” in a single coat to simplify application and reduce time on site, making it ideal for both new-build and redecoration projects.
Created with professional decorators in mind, Johnstone’s Trade Obliterate Matt offers immediate hiding power, helping the trade complete jobs quicker. Its advanced formulation combines outstanding coverage with Class 1 scrub durability, ensuring a tough, long-lasting finish. It is ideal for high-traffic spaces such as stairwells, corridors, and commercial spaces, as well as in a domestic environment. Backed by PPG’s advanced high opacity technology, it provides consistent results across large surfaces, helping decorators cut application time by up to 50% compared to traditional emulsions.
Suitable for brush, roller and even spray application, Johnstone’s Trade Obliterate Matt works on bare plaster and previously painted surfaces, delivering a premium finish and offering flexibility without compromise. It is available in Brilliant White and can be tinted to thousands of colours.
