Master Masking in One-Step

Master Masking in One-Step

The Q1® Hand Masker fuses tape and protective film into one smooth action, cutting preparation time by up to 50%. Its ergonomic, adjustable design handles flat walls and fine mouldings alike, while precise dispensing minimises waste.

By integrating tape and protective film in one continuous operation, the need to juggle separate rolls is eliminated, hand fatigue is reduced .

One smooth sweep

The Hand Masker allows with one smooth motion, the operator to lay down a precise line of tape and a protective layer of film simultaneously. The device’s low-friction rollers enable the materials to glide effortlessly, even on newly plastered walls or slightly uneven surfaces. This uninterrupted motion replaces the need for two passes — and often a third to correct errors — with a single, decisive action.

Instinctive adaptability

What makes this fusion so powerful is its almost instinctive adaptability. As you transition from the flat expanse of a freshly skimmed wall to the delicate contours of picture‑frame mouldings, the Hand Masker adjusts seamlessly. Its narrow profile and ergonomic body ensure that every inch of tape and film sits flush against the surface, eradicating any risk of lift or seepage. The specially designed clip at the nose of the tool grips the leading edge of the media securely, guiding it through without snags.

And when the job demands a different tape width—whether for fine heritage joinery or broad exterior panels—the optional Q1®Adjustable Blade slides into place in seconds, locking firmly to maintain perfect tension throughout the run.

Sustainable efficiency

By dispensing only the exact length of tape and film required, it eliminates unnecessary material waste. This translates into lower purchasing costs and reduced disposal fees, aligning profitability with environmental responsibility.

Professional control

The Hand Masker features a dual adjustment system  that combines two flat-head screws for rapid, tool-assisted blade-tension setup with two butterfly screws for swift fingertip adjustments. Decorators can fine-tune the feed tension to suit everything from lightweight films to heavy-duty paper stocks, guaranteeing consistent adhesion and clean edges on every surface.
