Dulux Most Trusted Decorator Competition
The Dulux Most Trusted Decorator competition has been launched to search for the UK’s Most Trusted Contractor Painter. The Dulux Most Trusted Decorator competition has been created to raise the profile of contractor painters and highlight the importance of maintaining high quality workmanship, even during tough times.
Says John Staunton, Customer Marketing Manager at AkzoNobel, ‘’ High profile projects often receive great acclaim in the media and among peers; however, it’s not often that the valuable input made by contractor painters to these projects gets the credit it deserves. In recognition of this, the Dulux Most Trusted Decorator competition aims to seek out those tradesmen who go above and beyond, and give them an official acknowledgment of their hard work”.
There are great prizes up for grabs, with the winner receiving two tickets to watch a premiership team of their choice, an overnight stay in a four star hotel and £500 to spend in their chosen department store. Two runners up will also receive tickets to watch a premiership team of their choice.
Contractors and specifiers are encouraged to nominate the sector’s unsung heroes in one of three categories: Individual from a National Contractor, Individual from a Large Contractor and Individual from a Small to Medium Contractor. Nominations can be made at www.duluxtrade.co.uk/cp and the first 500 nominees will receive a free t-shirt.
The launch is the next stage of the Dulux Trade ‘Trade and Trusted’ campaign and follows the company’s recent ‘Most Trusted Decorator’ competition, which was launched in February this year and received over 1000 entries.
