25 apprenticeships up for grabs with Novus
National property maintenance, refurbishment, and new build contractor, Novus Property Solutions, is looking for the country’s top new apprentices as it launches its annual apprentice recruitment campaign for 2017.
The company, which has 30 offices nationwide, is looking to fill 24 full-time apprenticeships in a range of trades, including decorating, carpentry, joinery and maintenance as well as an apprentice mechanic at more than a dozen locations around the UK.
James Riley, a third year painting and decorating apprentice who has recently been named Novus’ Apprentice of the Year, is keen to encourage other young people to take the first step in their career by applying for an apprenticeship with Novus. During his apprenticeship he’s volunteered on several community projects and has twice been chosen to represent the company on its annual humanitarian trip to Slovenia.
James said: “The great thing about being an apprentice is that every day is different. I’ve learnt so many new skills and it really feels like I’ve taken a big leap in my career in a short time.
“The opportunities open to apprentices at Novus are endless and I hope that once I complete my apprenticeship I can start on my permanent career with the company. If you’re considering an apprenticeship why not take this first step and apply today – you never know where it will lead you!”
A dedicated mentor will guide all new apprentices throughout their training and college-based learning. While on site, apprentices will work alongside qualified tradespeople and benefit from their expertise, continuing a tradition that Novus has proudly maintained for more than 75 years.
This year’s deadline for applications is Tuesday 30th May. Candidates must be available for Novus’ ‘Apprentice Week’ which runs from Wed 9th to Sun 13th August and ready to enroll for their college course in September.
