It’s ‘Open House’ at The Dulux Academy

Dulux Academy is holding an interactive open day at its Slough HQ on August 20 where decorators can reunite after the challenges of the past year and half.

It will give painters and decorators the opportunity to explore the centre’s new facilities as well as allowing those who attended Dulux Academy Live courses during lockdown to meet face-fo-face for the first time.

Recent developments include a state-of-the-art Spray Theatre that allows expert skills development consultants to provide more in-depth classes using the latest equipment supplied by Graco.

Visitors can also enjoy tours of the Colour Studio and Media Centre as well as tasters of courses from Colour Use to Urban Effects.

Further attractions include a visit from the iconic Dulux Dog, a complementary BBQ, sideshows and product demonstrations from trusted supplier partners Graco, Mirka, Tesa, Repair Care, Axus, Rodo and Corona; plus a prize draw, which will be raising money for the charities being supported by the forthcoming Dulux London Revolution.

Launched in 2016, Dulux Academy is the UK’s first dedicated training centre for professional painters and decorators.

Courses are delivered by experienced Dulux Academy skills development consultants, who are all former professionals. Approved by City & Guilds and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), to date Dulux Academy has welcomed more than 8,000 in-person course attendees and a further 3,000 online.

To register to attend the ‘Open House’ event please RSVP to duluxacademy@akzonobel.com by 16th August.
