Management Buy-Out At Bell Group

Bell Group, who employ over 1,200 decorators in the UK, has successfully completed a management buy-out.

The new management say it aims to double the size of the business over the next five years.

Included in its plans is continued capital invest in its 31 branches together with continuing its systemization project, which will allow customers to track the progress of their work along the lines of the service offered by companies such as DHL.

In addition Bell will also launch a further 4 Training Centres in the UK over the next 2 years to provide apprenticeships in areas of the country most in need of jobs.

Craig Bell, CEO of Bell Group said: “Recently we have seen a real step change in the work we’ve completed and contracts we are securing and we’re very excited about the future and the commitments long term contracts allow us to make. The pandemic understandably slowed our growth over the last year, but our forecasts for this year are very strong.  As new owners we’re excited to continue to build on the legacy of our predecessors over the past 37 years.”

Bell Group has 31 locations across the UK and employs over 1,600 people. The company forecasts turnover of £150 million for 2021, building on its average year on year growth of 15 per cent. Its customers include NHS Trusts, Ministry of Defence, Housing Associations and Local Councils across the UK as well as working in many Historic Buildings, Palaces and now offering a service to decorate your home.
