The Paint Shed Celebrates
Independent paint retailer The Paint Shed is celebrating 30 years of trading this month having opened its first retail store in Edinburgh in May 1992. Since then, the company has opened a growing network of 18 stores across Scotland and Northern England, while continuing to expand its ecommerce business.
The company’s eighteenth and most recent Inverness store opened in March 2022, and the Paint Shed will now soon announce a nineteenth store, opening in Scotland, during the summer of 2022.
Michael Rolland, managing director of The Paint Shed, said: “We’re proud to be celebrating 30 years since we opened the doors to our first retail store, and we now look towards exciting further expansion. The Paint Shed stocks a wide selection of quality trade paint brands, with mixing machines from Crown, Dulux, Johnstone’s, Jotun Demidekk and Zinsser, as well as designer paint brands such as Farrow & Ball, and Little Greene.
