WernerCo boosts UK production
Access equipment specialist WernerCo has increased manufacturing at its UK facility in Maldon, Essex with the production of its extension ladders.
Jan Zmrzlik, General Manager Operations at WernerCo, said: “This is just the first phase of new ladder production and we are looking at bringing additional ladder manufacturing to the UK to take advantage of these skills. WernerCo has production facilities all over the world, so it’s been great to see the investment in manufacturing in our UK business.”
WernerCo’s Maldon facility specialises in aluminium welding, with an annual production of around 500,000 units, including products such as the Mobile Scaffold Towers and Podiums. It also has a dedicated Service Centre for Aluminium Scaffolding.
WernerCo additionally has a centrally located National Distribution Centre in Burton Upon Trent, which provides distribution and collection facilities to its UK customer base.
