And the Winner is …
The winner of this year’s Purdy Mentor of the Year competition will also be announced during the show. In its fourth year, the competition aims to recognise those in the industry who inspire the next generation of professional painters and decorators. Purdy understands that professionals require both a high level of skill and craftmanship to stand up to customer demands and deliver great results. Therefore, Purdy has asked those learning the trade to nominate people who have had a positive impact on their learning. One nominated college lecturer and one professional painter and decorator will be selected as winners, receiving £1,000 each at the show. One runner up college lecturer and professional painter and decorator will also each receive £500 each.
