PDA plans for “flagship” P&D Show. #PDShow2022 Preview

The UK’s largest trade body for the painting and decorating sector has set out its agenda for the flagship trade show for the industry.
The Painting and Decorating Association is a proud sponsor of the National Painting and Decorating Show, which takes place on November 22 and 23 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The Association is inviting PDA members and people working across the painting and decorating sector to visit them at the show and has outlined how they will be getting involved this year.
PDA Chief Executive, Neil Ogilvie said: “The PDA has a long-standing relationship with the NP&D Show and its organisers, and we are very proud to be a sponsor of the event this year.
Graco and Mirka machines up for grabs
“As in previous years, the PDA AGM will be held on the first day of the show. All PDA members are invited to take part – and those who attend can be in with a chance to win a handheld Graco spray machine.
“We are also delighted that this year, our Membership Services Manager, Denice Harper, will be giving a presentation at the show, which highlights the help and support available to businesses that enjoy the benefits of trade body membership.
“The Chair of our Education and Training Committee, Julie Lawrenson, Head of Learning and Organisational Development at Bell Group, will also be giving a presentation on the value of nurturing talent through apprenticeships.”
The PDA team will be at Stand 96 throughout the two days of the show, where members can drop their business cards into a pot for a chance to win a Mirka sanding machine.
And, the PDA will also be launching a new sustainability project which aims to support painters and decorators establish their green credentials.
Neil added: “The NP&D Show is always a lively and interesting event and we look forward to catching up with our members and meeting visitors to our stand.”
