The UK’s largest trade body dedicated to the painting and decorating sector, The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) is running a jumbo prize draw with a raft of excellent prizes up for grabs. PDA Members and trade show visitors can enter the draw for free.
The PDA is also offering a show exclusive 20% discount on membership fees to qualifying traders who sign up during the show.
Green Paint Scheme highlighted.
The PDA will also be showcasing its newly launched Paint Green scheme, designed to help contractors large and small make a commitment to improve their recycling rates for leftover paint and containers.
Paint Green aims to expand in the coming years, empowering painters and decorators to introduce new environmentally friendly working practices one step at a time.
PDA Chief Executive, Neil Ogilvie said: “What happens to leftover paint and used paint containers is a major issue for us as an industry.
“Paint Green dovetails with other industry initiatives such as BCF’s Paint Care and recycling schemes offered by manufacturers to incentivise PDA members to make use of existing methods of reducing the amount of paint and containers that go to landfill.
“We are delighted that so many of our members who took the Paint Green Pledge have been leading the way on this work for some time and are now sharing the benefits of reducing waste and protecting the planet.
“The range of members who have signed up to the scheme is an excellent indicator that change is possible across the industry.”
