P&D Show ‘Huge‘ Success says Purdy
Purdy’s exciting new stand and new larger location at the P&D Show attracted more than 3,000 visitors during the two-day show and gave visitors the opportunity to speak to Purdy experts about the latest in tool innovation.
Purdy offered an improved live demonstration area that successfully profiled its roller NPD and handcrafted brush ranges. The stand, which was busy both days, allowed visitors to try out all of Purdy’s products and select what tools were best dependent on substrate – an interactive touch screen was also available, providing further guidance and information on all ranges.
While sharing product information was key, Purdy also ran a masterclass, which was attended by more than 100 people. Purdy’s Technical Manager, Mick Bowler, talked through the extensive brush range and demonstrated all of the roller NPD.
Adding to the stand experience, Purdy encouraged those who attended to take away a Marathon or Syntox brush and provide feedback on their experience once used.
Purdy also ran show offers on all of its products – specifically on its Marathon roller range, Powerlock Extension Pole and 9” Revolution Frame, which were extremely popular. Visitors were also really impressed with the Jumbo Mini Rollers, keen to see how they would on site in small areas like bathrooms and kitchens.

“We were delighted so many visitors were enthusiastic about our new roller products and were also keen to know more about matching the right brush with the right paint for different projects. Based on this success, we’re already looking at our plans for the show for 2016.”
