Big Wipes – Now Antiviral
The Big Wipes brand of hand cleaning products has been awarded antiviral accreditation. The company say they are the first industrial-grade cleaning wipes in the world to gain EN14476, the stringent European Antiviral Standard for chemical disinfectants.
Importantly, the certification is retrospective, which means that every Big Wipes tub with a BW in the batch number is antiviral.
“Instead of using separate products to clean and sanitise, the Big Wipes industrial range of cleaning and disinfecting wipes offers everything a tradesperson needs in one portable package. This not only saves time and money, but also gives users and their customers peace of mind”, says managing director Nigel Dibbo.
The Big Wipes range of wipes is “PT1” (product type for hands) and “PT2” (product type for surfaces) registered. This means that they are suitable for the disinfection and sanitisation of both hands and surfaces. Big Wipes have been proven to be effective against enveloped viruses, including SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
At the same time, Big Wipes continue to offer >99.9% antibacterial protection. They are compliant with BS EN 1276, the European standard for the bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants.
