Innovative wallpapering tool launches at P&D Show
Making its debut at the P&D show on Dec’s M8 Stand 72 is an all new device, the Handi Hanga™, an all round tool for matching and hanging wallpaper.
The Handi Hanga™, while set to make an impact in the DIY market, will also appeal to the professional say Dec M8.
Says inventor of the tool Andy Wood “The P&D Show is great opportunity for us not only to demonstrate the unique abilities of the Handi Hanga but also to talk to other parties who may be interested in working with us through licensing or partnership deals to promote sales in the UK and export markets“.
The Handi Hanga™ is a wallpapering tool and system that makes it easier and safer to hang wallpaper. Its primary function is to aid in the measuring and hanging of wallpaper in any situation, vertical, horizontal and even the ceilings essentially allowing the job to be completed by one person.
How does it work?
The telescopic arm and patented head clamp allow the paper to be lifted into place on walls up to 5m high. It is particularly useful on staircases. Unpasted paper can be positioned to match patterns and cut to length. Pasted paper can be hung to soak safely and positioned easily prior to smoothing to the wall. As the paper doesn’t need to be folded as much there is less chance of tearing.
The roll holder keeps the wallpaper off the floor at all times, on uncarpeted floors the gripper strips around the room can seriously damage the paper. Says the company “With the use of a second pole wallpapering ceilings is now a one man job. Horizontal paper hanging is also a one man job (without the need of using a mop or brush) Clamp support brackets can be fitted to your current pasting table to make fitting the paper to the clamp a breeze”.
