Mirka’s new flexible LEROS sander
Mirka UK is launching what it says is its lightest and most advanced wall and ceiling sander in April.
This brushless sanders features include a sanding head with 180° flexibility and a 5mm random orbital movement.
The sander weighs less than 3.5 kg. and Mika says will result produce less strain on the operator’s body and back.
The new sander allows the operator to work very close to corners due to the sanding head and backing pad design. The random orbital movement is designed to respond precisely to the operator’s movements and give a smooth finish.
Maintenance of the tool is also minimised as there are no carbon brushes to be changed. When combined with the company’s dust-free net abrasives and suitable dust extraction, the Mirka LEROS provides dust-free sanding.
It is available with or without a storage bag. An extension pole can also be purchased to increase the reach by 50cm.
