New HMG HydroPro Garden Paint offers superior performance
Manchester-based HMG Paints, the UK’s leading independent paint manufacturer, has launched HydroPro Garden Paint. An upgraded version of its popular,” Which” reviewed, Fence and Shed product the new paint is now enriched with wax for better protection and features additional colour options.
A water-based, low odour, quick-drying, two coat product, HMG’s HydroPro Garden Paint is designed to provide a superior quality coating for sheds and fences. The addition of wax to the formula ensures added protection against moisture when used on rough sawn and planed bare timber. It is ideal for use around the garden for fences, sheds, gates, and other timber structures as well as terracotta pots, concrete or cement.
It offers excellent porosity and coverage with superior opacity most substrates requiring just two coats, combined with quick drying means many projects can be completed in single day.
“This excellent product is touch dry in one hour and can be recoated in two. It can also be used in all suitable weather conditions and is easy to apply by brush, roller or garden spray,” says HMG Paints’ James Burton.
Clean-up is simple using soap and water and, importantly for garden use, it is safe around plants and pets. The coating offers up to five years’ protection and is available in 11 ready mixed colours. It is supplied in 5lt recycled plastic cans that are themselves recyclable.
