Dan Lovatt named as COAT ambassador

Following the recent launch of his bespoke Colour Consultancy service, Dan Lovatt kicks off 2026 COAT partnership with guest bedroom makeover reveal.

Interior designer and colour consultant Dan Lovatt has officially been named the 2026 long-term brand ambassador for COAT, which is described as the world’s first Climate Positive and B Corp certified paint company.

The 2026 partnership marks an evolution of a long-standing relationship, one that Lovatt is incredibly proud to be a part of.

Known for his lived-in aesthetic and expert use of texture and tone, Dan has been a dedicated advocate for COAT’s high-grade, sustainable finishes for several years. In 2026, he will play a pivotal role in COAT’s campaign storytelling and UGC creation, producing design-led content that brings the brand’s seasonal colour narratives to life across owned and social channels.

This 2026 content partnership has kicked off with the reveal of his guest room makeover, which has already garnered over 600,000 views. The collaboration reflects COAT’s strategic focus on creator-led storytelling, using credible design voices to deliver high-performing, educational UGC at scale.

An interior designer based in the Northeast of England, Dan works across residential, commercial and creative consultancy projects. The partnership highlights Dan’s expertise following the launch of his official ‘Colour Consultancy’ service.

Created to bridge the gap between inspiration and execution, the service offers bespoke guidance for homeowners looking to navigate the overwhelm of decision-making when decorating.

Speaking on the partnership, Dan said: “COAT is a brand I’ve genuinely used and recommended for years, so becoming a long-term ambassador feels like a natural evolution. We share the same belief that great design should be considered, practical and responsible – and I’m excited to bring that to life throughout 2026.”

Ellis Hennebry, COAT Head of Marketing, said: “From day one, Dan has been a genuine advocate for COAT – not just as a collaborator, but as a customer. His approach to colour is thoughtful, lived-in and deeply considered, which mirrors how we think about paint.
