Crown customer gets the VIP Treatment

Crown Paints has awarded one lucky contractor customer one million points as part of the paint manufacturers’ recent VIP Rewards competition.

Patrick Laffan, contracts director at Sean Doyle Painting Contractors Limited, was the lucky winner having been selected at random after the competition closed. He received one million points to spend on his choice of Red Letter Day experiences and the 120+ big name brands available on The Lifestyle Voucher, following a socially-distanced presentation organised by Crown Paints at the Sean Doyle Painting Contractors UK office in Croydon.

Hear more from Patrick:

The competition was open to all Crown VIP Rewards members and attracted great interest. Members of the loyalty scheme simply had to sign into their accounts or register an account for the first time if they were new to the scheme, during the six weeks the competition ran in January and February.

Winner Patrick Laffan said: “I’d not been having the best of days when Ian, my Crown Paints account manager, broke the news to me that I’d won and it took me a while to realise he wasn’t joking! I never win anything like this so I’m really over the moon. Ever since I found out, I’ve been looking at what I can spend the points on and there are so many options – I really am spoilt for choice. I’d love to do something with some of the team here at Sean Doyle as we’ve all worked so hard this last 12 months, it would be great to treat them to something too!”

Ian Hoy, contractor sales manager at Crown Paints added: “It’s not just Patrick as our million points winner who can now treat himself – all our VIP Rewards scheme members can give themselves the VIP treatment with a choice of Red Letter Days activities and brands on The Lifestyle Voucher to swap their points for. Once you’ve signed up to the scheme you can start earning points straight away on Crown Trade and Macpherson purchases and as we regularly offer special promotions with double points, they soon add up.”
