Dunlop Pro Décor expands in North East
Decorating fillers and smoothers company Dunlop Pro Décor has announced a new partnership with well-established North East decorators merchant (trading as Williamsons Decorator Centres). Established in 1884, Fred Williamson and Sons Ltd moved from its original premises on Dundas Street, Sunderland in 1983, to a larger building on Roker Avenue, where it remains today. As well as its Sunderland branch, it also has five other satellite stores operating in Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Morpeth and Durham.
The Pro Décor range includes ground-breaking Hydroloc technology in its products .Hydroloc helps the filler dry through a chemical reaction, not water, meaning the product dries evenly, regardless of thickness within 24 hours. This means that the drying process is not dependent on heat or humidity, and the product will not slump or shrink.
Debi Boulton, Sales and Marketing Manager at Dunlop, commented: “We’re delighted to announce this exciting partnership with the largest independent decorators’ merchants in the North East.
“Having Fred Williamsons on board as a stockist is a massive fillip, not only for the company but also for independent decorators and decorating contractors throughout the North East, giving them the opportunity to purchase our products locally at competitive prices.”
