Scottish decorator in the news for charity makeovers
Edinburgh-based Mikey McKinnon, who owns McKinnon Decorators, also runs Mission Makeovers and is working with a local charity – River Kids – to transform the bedrooms of children who need support.
Mikey recently made the news for the incredible work Mission Makeovers does, giving children a boost with a bedroom transformation.
Pictured is the 5th Mission Makeover project, complete with glow-in-the-dark stars and planets.
Mikey told P&D News: “I started my Mission Makeovers because I wanted to use my skills and knowledge in painting and decorating to give back to local communities and families with children who are struggling. I think every child deserves a bedroom they feel safe in and can let their imagination go wild.”
