Johnstone’s Trade scores Leeds Rhinos

Johnstone’s Trade has announced it will be continuing its partnership with Leeds Rhinos rugby club for a third consecutive year.

The Yorkshire-based paint manufacturer which is owned by PPG will continue to be the club’s official paint partner and has also announced that it will be sponsoring one of the Leeds Rhinos’ young players – Jack Broadbent – for the 2021 season.

Jack, who is local to the PPG head offices in Batley, signed a two-year deal with the Leeds Rhinos in February 2021 after making his Super League debut last season. As the league has returned and games have started to take place behind closed doors over the past few months, Jack has already contributed to the team’s achievements.

Matt Baines, Business Unit Director for Trade UK and Ireland at PPG, said: “It’s fantastic to continue our partnership with Leeds Rhinos – the club is an integral part of the local community and we’re pleased that we can support the work it does through our partnership.

“We’re also really proud to be the official sponsor of Jack Broadbent, whose mum actually works at PPG. He’s already making a big name for himself and we’re looking forward to celebrating his achievements as he lives out his dream of playing for his local team.”
