Sadolin – a TV Garden hit
Sadolin was the star of the small screen this month thanks to a school renovation project organised by ITV’s This Morning.
Gardener Danny Clarke was asked to create a new science garden for St Georges CE Primary School in Bromley, Kent, in time for the new term.
Orpington Crown Decorating Centre donated 12 litres of Sadolin woodstain in purple, light blue, pink, orange, yellow and white to help transform the school’s outdoor space into a colourful educational environment.
Danny Clarke and a team of volunteers organised by This Morning used Sadolin to paint the garden’s multi-coloured picket fence, the timber used for the garden’s raised beds, and recycled tyres that the team used to create planters.
Commenting on the donation, Josie Cawdry, corporate communications executive for Crown Paints, said: “We were delighted to be involved in this wonderful project – when This Morning’s producers approached us about the donation, we jumped at the chance to help out the school.”
