Johnstone’s Aqua Win

Winner celebrates Johnstone’s Aqua win.

A decorator from Bradford has promised to paint the town red after getting his hands on a £5000 prize bundle in an exclusive competition with Johnstone’s.

Johnstone’s initiated the competition to celebrate the launch of its new Johnstone’s Aqua Water-Based Gloss and Philip Inman, who runs his own decorating firm, was selected at random from over 1000 entrants to claim the top prize.

Philip was presented with the prize haul at the Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in central Bradford and says that he can’t wait to start using them on site.

He comments: “It was such a shock to find out I had won the competition, but I’m absolutely thrilled to have done so! I have no doubts that the prizes will significantly boost my business although I might have to consider a new van to accommodate everything!”

The water-based Johnstone’s Aqua system, which includes both a Gloss and Undercoat, was specifically designed to offer decorators the quick drying and low odour benefits of water-based products with all the same application qualities of traditional solvent-based glosses.

The Aqua system also provides the high sheen, great coverage and excellent durability of solvent-based paints, offering decorators the best of both worlds. The low odour properties ensure that the working environment is better for both the decorator and their customers.
