LIBÉRON SET TO MAKE IMPACT AT P&D SHOW
Visitors to this year’s National Painting & Decorating Show are invited to Libéron’s stand to find out about how the company is investing in the brand and the whole woodcare category in general. The company will use the show as a platform to showcase a new brand image and refreshed packaging plus exterior woodcare products launched recently.
As part of the new look products such as dyes, waxes, oils and varnishes are now in colour-coded packaging which makes finding the products in stockists easier. In addition, Libéron has expanded its range of formulations for outdoor application to enhance its comprehensive woodcare offer.
The company has also developed a new-look easy to navigate website and which carries tips and advice alongside useful product information.
So far, investment in exterior woodcare has seen the launch of two new products: ‘Superior Protection Woodstain’ and ‘Superior Decking Stain’. They join Libéron’s flagship decking oil.
Superior Protection is fast drying
Libéron’snew Superior Protection Woodstain requires only two coats with the first one dry after just 3 hours and ready for the second application. It has an 8-year guarantee and can be used on outdoor cladding, window frames or doors.
The quick-drying satin finish woodstain is formulated to be smooth and simple to apply. Whilst being water-repellent, it nevertheless has a formulation that makes it microporous once dry, which allows wood to breathe.
With a non-drip formulation, the woodstain is suitable for most woods, hard and soft, new or old, and can be applied over most existing woodstains. Its formulation makes it flexible with wood movement. UV filters are incorporated , making it suitable for outdoor woods that are exposed to harsh weather conditions. It is available in six colours.
New Decking Product
Libéron’s new water based ‘Superior Decking Stain’ is water-repellent, protects against damage from sunlight. It’s biosourced formula which includes vegetable oils and modified bio-based resins, has been developed to reduce environmental impact but still offer high, long lasting performance.
It protects against moisture and sunlight and features anti-slip properties. Quick-drying, it has a good spreading rate and produces a natural, semi-transparent finish once dry. It is offered in six colours.
