Paint & Paper Library now self-priming and multi surface. #PDShow2022 Preview

Paint & Paper Library – Stand 91

Alongside a new range of colours, Paint & Paper Library has reformulated its range of finishes, introducing cutting-edge, self-priming and multi-surface adhesion formulations in the Architects’ range of finishes. Now all Paint & Paper Library colours can now be used on virtually any interior or exterior surface, without the need for a separate primer.

These high-performance luxury finishes be applied directly to plaster, woodwork, metalwork, glass, ceramic tiles, glass and uPVC.

Unique Colours

Offering a palette of 180 unique colours and manufactured to exceptionally high standards in the UK – Paint & Paper Library provide inspiration, colour expertise and design ideas to interior decorators, painting and decorating contractors, architects and specifiers.

Details on the new Paint & Paper colour card launched in September 2022 will be available at the P&D Show. It features nine new additions and three new ‘Architectural’ families of colour alongside 8 shades revived from the Paint & Paper Library archive.

In addition to an updated colour palette, the card sees the launch of three additional families of softly graduated Architectural colours.

Eight further colours have been revived from the Paint & Paper Library archive. These rich pinks, deep oranges, charismatic greens and blues include ‘Caravan’, ‘Kasbah’, ‘Jaipur Pink’, ‘Roben’s Honour’, ‘Scarlet’, ‘Rust’, ‘Pollen II’, ‘Mink’ & ‘The Long Room’.

Andy Greenall, Head of Design – Paint & Paper Library, commented This collection will transform how we decorate, allowing designers and homeowners alike complete control of where and how they use colour. The self-priming and durable nature of these formulations means our entire range of colours can be used on virtually any surface. Those motivated by the beautiful interplay of light on a matt surface, can use Architects’ Matt Emulsion across walls, woodwork, radiators and tiles. This stunning matt finish is as effective and hardwearing on woodwork as a conventional, higher sheen paint. The range of finishes, from the chalky ‘Pure Flat’ matt to the higher sheen Architects’ Satinwood and now water-based gloss, offers the opportunity to really play with sheen levels and their effect on colour.”
