Fast Drying Cladding Finish from Crown Trade Protective Coatings is a new cost effective high performance product that allows tradesmen to offer clients a decorative and protective finish for the refurbishment of metal cladded surfaces.
The Fast Drying Cladding Finish has been developed specifically to adhere to pre-coated and weathered metal cladding and other external features that have become dull and discoloured over time.
Applications include retail sites, sports halls and warehouses. Offering up to eight years protection Fast Drying Cladding Finish is available in a wide range of colours. This means decorators can usually match up existing areas on a cladding surface if a complete change of colour at the site is not required – offering a cost effective refurbishment solution.
The water-based formulation also offers a quick drying time and incorporates anti-mould properties to maintain an attractive aesthetic finish for the longer term.
Where the existing coating has failed, Fast Drying Cladding Finish can be used in conjunction with Crown Trade Protective Coatings High Build Rust Inhibiting Metal Primer to protect the bare, exposed metal from corrosion.
The High Build Rust Inhibiting Metal Primer provides the foundation for the Fast Drying Cladding Finish as a complete system. It cures to a low sheen finish, promoting excellent adhesion of the topcoat and is a very distinctive salmon pink colour, which makes it easy to see where the primer has been applied and to ensure that no areas have been missed.
The system is applied under a straightforward process, using conventional brushes, rollers or spray equipment, with no special application techniques or tools required.
