WIN 1 of 3 OLFA BUNDLES WITH P&D NEWS

Axus Decor, who distributes OLFA in the UK and Ireland, is giving you the chance to win one of three OLFA Bundles. In the bundle, included among the many OLFA Superstars is the Extra-Heavy-Duty Scraper (XSR-600), the ultimate scraper. It’s delightful to use for delicate removal tasks, yet equally able to perform some serious demolition.

The end of the tool features a steel point that you can strike a hammer against, which works well with its included, tough blade. This blade is 0.8mm thick, so it doesn’t get chipped, even when struck against hard materials, such as tiles. Other uses include adhesives, epoxy, roofing materials, etc.

When equipped with the Flexi-Blade (BSF), it becomes the ideal tool for sensitive tasks, such as removing paint and wallpaper. Applying pressure causes the blade to bend, allowing you to scrape at a much shallower angle. As a result, you’ll remove material without gouging the surface, saving enormous repair cost and time.

Swap blades in seconds without needing the help of any other tools. The XSR-600’s shaft is chrome-plated stainless steel, the head is die-cast aluminium, and the wheel to change the blade is nickel-plated. These materials maximise durability, resist dirt and scratches, and minimise weight. The handle features OLFA’s famous “X” rubber wraparound; it’s comfortable and prevents slipping, allowing you to apply maximum force with minimal hand fatigue.

Each bundle will also feature new OLFA additions like the Concealed Blade Thick Material Cutter (SK-16). Use this for safely unpacking project materials without damaging the contents and trimming surface protection such as heavy paperboard and correx.
