Can Back scheme signs up to Paint Green

Crown Decorating Centres’ Can Back scheme has joined The Painting and Decorating Association’s Paint Green initiative.

Paint Green encourages PDA members to use existing schemes to reduce, reuse or recycle excess paint and paint containers in a bid to drive down waste across the industry and act as the ‘first step’ of a sustainability journey.

PDA members who have taken the Paint Green Pledge can set up an account with Crown Decorating Centres, giving them access to Can Back – a recycling initiative encouraging customers to return paint containers so they can be recycled.

Crown Decorating Centres was the first major trade retailer to provide a directory entry for the PDA’s Green List.
