Dulux Decorator Centres is toasting its most successful National Painting & Decorating Show to date, after thousands of visitors flocked to the number one stand to have a pint and chat with the team, as well as brushing shoulders with a few famous guests.
Designed to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the stand was transformed into Dulux Decorator Centres very own pub, The Painter’s Arms, which was a hit with painters & decorators.
Two-time World Darts Champion, Adrian Lewis was on hand to challenge visitors in a fun pub darts competition, which gave confident contestants the chance to win Dulux Decorator Centres vouchers. The highest scoring participant and therefore the winner of a signed Adrian Lewis shirt, was Kevin Stow, a painting and decorating lecturer from Lowestoft College.
Throughout the event, painters and decorators took to the Dulux Decorator Centres ‘Wheel of Fortune’ game, where they could win even more prizes, including t-shirts, coffee mugs and vouchers. In addition, the much loved famous Dulux dog also visited the stand and posed for photos during the show.
Beverley Whitehead, marketing and communications manager at Dulux Decorator Centres, explained: “The Painter’s Arms proved to be a huge hit at the show – it was the perfect setting for us to have a catch up with our customers in a relaxed environment.
