Dulux Academy Training “in store”

Dulux Decorator Centre is expanding its support for professionals by bringing Dulux Academy training facilities to its store locations.

Dulux Academy says the purpose-built spaces will offer greater accessibility to deliver face-to-face training courses, that has previously been delivered from the Dulux Academy HQ in Slough and across a number of partner colleges.

The new facilities will offer the full range of Dulux Academy courses from professional application techniques like wallpapering and spraying, to building colour confidence and business skills such as using marketing on social media.

The new locations will initially be available in three Dulux Decorator Centre sites, with Altrincham being the first to officially open on the 29th July followed by Norwich and West Thurrock.

Guy Butterworth, Managing Director at Dulux Decorator Centre comments: “Partnering with the Dulux Academy means we can make it easier for customers to train in new techniques that will help to ensure they can offer a stand-out service to their clients.”

Vickie Mather, Dulux Academy Lead adds: “Since launching five years ago Dulux Academy has helped thousands of professionals learn new skills.

“We’re immensely proud that our training can move the dial for decorators, by setting them apart from their peers and driving business growth.

“By being able to offer our courses at Dulux Decorator Centre locations across the country we are delighted to be able to expand the help and support that we can provide to the trade.”

Launched in 2016, Dulux Academy is the UK’s first dedicated training centre for professional painters and decorators.

Training is delivered by experienced Dulux Academy Skills Development Consultants, who are all decorating professionals.
