Contact free collection at Dulux Decorating Centres
Dulux Decorator Centre has partnered with Ripple Lockers to introduce a completely contact free service.
The new collection lockers have been introduced as part of the Dulux Decorator Centre ‘Safeserve’ procedures to help keep customers and store colleagues safe during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
The lockers, introduced in 12 Dulux Decorator Centre stores across the UK, make it easier for decorators to collect products at a time that is suitable to them, with collection slots available 24/7.
Collection lockers are also sanitised between uses and make it easier for customers to socially distance.
Decorators simply drive up to the locker, access securely with a unique PIN and load their order directly into their vehicle.
In addition to the new lockers, Dulux Decorator Centre has also introduced a new ‘Drive and Collect’ service at 12 stores.
Drive and Collect offers a simple solution for customers to click and collect their order in a contact free way.
The service allows decorators to order their products online so they’re ready when they drive up to the store. A store colleague will then bring the order to a customer’s car or van for them to load it up and drive away.
John Henderson, Managing Director of Dulux Decorator Centre, said: “In the last six months, we’ve focused on adapting our instore and online service to give all our customers options that best fit with their schedules, while keeping everyone as safe as possible.
“The new Collection Lockers, along with our Drive and Collect service will make it safer, easier and faster for decorators to collect products at a time that is convenient to them.
“We’re trialling the services in selected stores and hope to be able to expand this offering to more customers across the country in the coming months.”
