PPG grows in Manchester with Chorlton Acquisition
PPG have announced the acquisition of painters and decorators merchant Chorlton Trade Paints. This will increase PPG’s store network in Greater Manchester to 10.
Chorlton Trade Paints’ existing team is being retained.
Vincent O’Sullivan, Business Unit Director of PPG UK and Ireland said: “We’re delighted that Chorlton Trade Paints has joined the PPG family, helping us grow our presence in Manchester, and to welcome our new colleagues from the store. Their knowledge and experience will be invaluable in delivering excellent service to both new and existing customers.”
Commenting on the acquisition, Alan Hulbert, former proprietor said: “PPG is a highly trusted and respected name in the industry. We’ve worked with the business, and stocked Johnstone’s products, for many years, so are delighted to be leaving Chorlton Trade Paints in such good hands”.
