Novelio Nature’s hotel refurb success
Novelio Nature, the innovative wallcovering from Saint-Gobain ADFORS – who specialises in the manufacture of fibre glass products – was the choice of the Best Western Hotel Halland, in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the renovation of its restaurant, The Square. As part of a global renovation process that has just started, Best Western Halland decided to improve one of its most high traffic areas – the Square Restaurant.
According to Joakim Torbing, one of the owners of this popular hotel, the main purpose of the renovation project was to transform the eatery to create a cosy and warm environment that would give guests a more “home from home” feeling
With this in mind, some of the walls were covered with Novelio Nature Charm Sandbank a neutral and mellow tone, while others were embellished with Novelio Nature Charm Baltic Blue coverings, creating a contrast and matching the new lamps and floor of the restaurant.

The renovation was completed within two days, and the team managed to do it without affecting the normal operation of the restaurant.
“I was surprised with how fast the painter managed to apply the wallcovering,” Torbing confesses. “Time was essential in this project, as we couldn’t shut down the restaurant for a day or two, so it really helped that the product was easy to install.”
