The prestigious awards, which celebrates the very best of the construction industry, was hosted at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London with more than 1300 industry leaders from across the UK attending.
The Employer of the Year category, which this year included eight finalists all competing for the title, is designed to recognise companies who turn the spotlight on diversity and corporate social responsibility, tackle skills shortages and engage with the community.
The panel of 57 expert judges, who conducted a thorough face to face review with all shortlisted entries, said of Novus: “Everything they put in place is industry-leading. Progressive and forward-looking, they recognised what they need to do to be and remain the employer of choice.”
They also highlighted that as a company Novus takes a proactive approach to talent mapping and succession planning, which is something that is “all too rare in a family business”.
