Sandtex Gateshead Success
The qualities of Sandtex Trade 365 All Weather Masonry Paint enabled work at a Gateshead social housing complex to be completed on the cusp of winter.
Mears Group plc undertook redecoration at Marion Court for The Gateshead Housing Company, using Sandtex Trade 365.
The paint, which has been awarded a British Board of Agrément Certificate for up to 15 years’ durability, was applied to the panels of the houses on the complex.
Sandtex Trade 365 is specially formulated for use in adverse weather conditions – offering decorators the opportunity to extend the decorating season and increase their opportunities to work on exterior projects.
Offering a smooth decorative finish, it provides masonry with a tough and durable waterproof outer ‘skin’, even at temperatures as low as -10°C.
Sandtex Trade 365’s high performance formulation is based on a plasticised Pliolite® resin – a dry acrylic copolymer binder – which is not water soluble.
The product – available to order in more than 550 different shades – is touch dry within 1-2 hours, can be recoated after 16 hours, and is rain resistant after just 20 minutes.
