Improved Dulux Undercoat Trim Paint
Dulux Trade has introduced its new Dulux Undercoat White and Pure Brilliant White trim paint. The solvent-based product has been upgraded to provide significantly reduced sheen levels, helping appliers achieve a smoother, uniformed, and even surface for topcoats on a wide range of surfaces.
Due to the product’s flatter finish, visible brush marks and roller mottle are minimised, so multiple layers of paint can be built up more easily. The reduced sheen of the product – which is fully VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) 2010 compliant – also makes it easier for decorating professionals to disguise uneven surfaces and imperfections. These upgrades, combined with the undercoat’s already high levels of opacity and durability.
The reformulation of the product follows upgrades to the Dulux Trade High Gloss White and Brilliant White paint in 2011, which saw improvements in levels of opacity and reduced yellowing.
