Ladder Sales on the Up
Launched into the UK market at the end of 2011, the Werner range of ladders which includes stepladders, combination ladders, loft ladders, extension ladders, roof ladders and work platforms is , say the company, fast becoming a firm favourite with Trade and Professional users for its robust design and focus on safety.
The health and safety benefits of fibreglass have led to this material accounting for 50 per cent of the US market, and the Werner® range includes fibreglass swingback and platform stepladders, available in either ‘trade’ or ‘industrial’ options. All Werner fibreglass ladders have electrically non-conductive stiles and are ideal for working around electricity. Non-conductive to 30,000 volts, the durable, seven-layer fibreglass stiles retain their smooth surface even after weathering.
The Werner line up also includes the unique Lock-In Syste that accepts a range of accessories designed to boost safety and productivity. The accessories – which store and cater for anything from power and hand tools to paint sprayers and paint – substantially reduce the number of trips required up and down a ladder.
