Walther Strong to highlight H20 Liquid Primer & Mask and specialist solutions at Painting & Decorating Show 2026

Walther Strong will showcase a range of specialist solutions for trade professionals at the Painting & Decorating Show 2026, with its H20 Liquid Mask taking centre stage on Stand F2.

The UK manufacturer will use the event to demonstrate practical, site-ready products designed to improve speed, finish quality and ease of application across decorating and construction projects.

At the forefront of the showcase is H20 Liquid Mask, a 2-in-1 primer and liquid masking solution developed for glazing and surface protection applications. Applied by brush, roller or spray, it forms a removable film that protects surfaces during painting and eliminates the need for traditional masking tape in many applications. Once work is complete, it can be scored and peeled away in a single sheet, supporting faster clean-up and reducing labour time on site. In addition, H20 Liquid Mask can also function as a timber primer, combining two stages of preparation into one process.

As part of the show, Walther Strong Managing Director Fred Dunn will also deliver a live demonstration of H20 Liquid Mask at the Trade Talks Theatre on 24th June at 11:30am, offering visitors the opportunity to see the product in action and learn more about its practical applications on site.

Supporting the H20 Liquid Mask on the stand will be Smoothing Spray and Joint Spatulas. Smoothing Spray is a solvent-free, ready-to-use solution designed to leave silicone beads looking flawless. Joint Spatulas can be used across silicone and caulk applications and have been developed to assist decorators and builders in finishing and shaping joints with greater control. The four-piece set features 16 edge profiles, helping create a variety of clean finishes across a range of applications.

Walther Strong will also highlight its Rough Surface Tape, a conformable masking tape designed for use on uneven and difficult substrates. Suitable for a wide range of trade applications, the tape is UV resistant and designed for clean removal for up to 14 days. It is intended for both indoor and outdoor use, particularly where standard masking tapes struggle to adhere effectively.

Speaking ahead of the show, Managing Director Fred Dunn said:

“Walther Strong is pleased to be exhibiting at the Painting and Decorating Show. The range we are presenting reflects the kind of everyday challenges decorators and builders face on site, and the focus is on making those tasks quicker and more consistent.”

He added that the show provides an opportunity to demonstrate how the products perform in practical decorating scenarios and to speak directly with end users about the challenges they face on site. Walther Strong will be at Stand F2 from 23–25 June 2026 at The NEC Birmingham.
