Save on legal support
The Painting and Decorating Association say that their members have saved a total of more than £80,000 since the trade body launched a partnership with the Markel UK Business Hub.
Markel UK provides access to legal and tax support and advice helplines, as well as group commercial legal expense insurance.
The PDA have seen a 20% increase in utilisation of these services in 2022.
The Business Hub includes a range of documents that PDA members can download for free, saving an average of £350 per document.
As well as legal support provided by Markel UK, PDA members are covered by a group commercial legal expenses insurance protection.
PDA Chief Executive, Neil Ogilvie said: “A key part of our role as the UK’s largest trade association dedicated to the painting and decorating sector, is ensuring our members have access to services that support their businesses.
“I’m delighted to report that Markel UK are now Associate Partners, cementing a long-standing relationship which has provided a wealth of benefits, savings and support to PDA members.
“The Business Hub is a really valuable asset and I’d encourage members who may feel they don’t require legal advice to register online and explore what is available.”
