Dulux offers a helping hand
Dulux Decorator Centre is marking its 125 years anniversary with a new charitable initiative and is asking decorators to nominate worthwhile projects.
The decorating merchant is to support 125 community organisations and charities across the UK who are going above and beyond in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
With the anniversary falling as the nation faces its greatest challenge in generations, Dulux Decorating Centres say want to back decorators to help support their communities and add colour to people’s lives – and are looking to help projects aiming to improve lives during this pandemic across the UK.
Managing Director John Henderson said: “Whether it’s a community centre that’s home to a food bank, a school or a charitable organisation doing great work locally, if your organisation needs a fresh coat of paint Dulux Decorator Centre wants to hear about it.
“The community has always been at the heart of everything we do. And that’s never been more true than today, during these unprecedented times”.
“Across our industry people have been showing their true colours in responding to the challenges of Covid-19 with countless acts of kindness”.
“We have seen just what a difference a generous donation can make for a charity centre, local school or park – and we really want to play our part to bring even more colour to projects that are so valuable to people who are struggling at the moment”.
“We’re grateful to be able to help in this small way in our anniversary year and I’d urge people to get in touch and nominate a local project.”
