Brewers lend a hand in Kenya
A group of Brewers employees headed to Western Kenya recently to lend a helping hand at Dreamland Mission Hospital. Brewers have been supporters of Dreamland Mission Hospital since 2012.
The hospital provides quality care at prices the rural community in the Mount Elgon and Bungoma county of Western Kenya can afford. The hospital is vital to the community as healthcare is hard to access in this part of Africa.
The team from Brewers had the chance to meet the people who ensure the smooth operations at the hospital including the proprietors, doctors, nurses and of course the patients.
The Dream Team were initially tasked with redecorating the reception area and the brand-new dedicated Baby Unit. Along with local painters and decorators, they were able renovate many more areas of the hospital and have truly unforgettable experiences along the way.
