Online P&D Show ‘A Triumph’!
Were you one of the many thousands of decorating professionals who visited the P&D Show this year? Not the real one of course – that was postponed because of the pandemic – but an online version staged by the organisers in conjunction with Painting and Decorating News.
The Online P&D Show ran for six weeks until the end of October and attracted over 8,000 visitors who racked up a whopping 73,000 page views.
Commented PDN editor, Paul Murray: “This was the first industry event of its kind and so we had no idea how it would go. But as it turned out it was a triumph. Exhibitors really entered into the spirit of the thing, posting practical how-to videos, launching some amazing new products and offering great competition prizes.
“You can’t completely replicate the buzz and excitement of a live show but in the absence of the national event at Ricoh Arena we were able to keep everyone up-to-date with all the latest industry news and product innovations”.
The next National Painting and Decorating Show takes place on 23rd & 24th November 2021 at Ricoh Arena, Coventry. See you there!
In this year of uncertainty, one thing is for certain, the P & D show is still a fixture in the decorators and our calendar to look forward too, even in the new online capacity it was clear that there was a thirst for new product innovations. We were proud to be able to present our new spray painting range at the show and be able to give the visitors a taste of the range by offering some prizes. Hopefully we are able to attend the show at the Ricoh next year and re-establish the relationships with the decorators and other suppliers, that we so enjoy. A totally new experience, so didn’t know what to expect! We were very encouraged by the number of visits to our dedicated site – and the overwhelming number of entries to our competition!
